This is a little gem. We stayed in a large room with a breathtaken view. The room and the bathroom was very clean, the towels were very soft and amenities in the bathroom were a good quality and plenty. The breakfast was excellent with all fruit, jam, eggs, cheeses, delicious cakes, breaths, fresh juices. Young gentlemen at reception, Ms Rita responsible for the kitchen were extremely kind and helpful. Faruk

Amazing Hospitality and Sublime Views A perfect example of the phrase ‘never judge a book by its cover’ as this property - seemingly uninspiring from the roadside - is beautifully presented inside. From the moment we entered we were warmly received by our host, Francesco, before being led to a superbly presented room with amazing views to the Mediterranean below and the hillside houses either side. From our balcony we enjoyed sumptuous breakfasts of local fare and the location was ideal for us as we enjoyed the 10 minute stroll down to the beach through wonderful streets dotted with cafe’s. All the facilities were first rate and the WIFI also worked perfectly. Like all lodgings in Positano it is expensive however this town is one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences and if you are going to spend the money it is nice to feel so welcomed by the hosts of this property as we were. Highly recommended.

Peaceful View My wife and I stayed here with our two daughters (9 and 10) at the family suite recently. As far as value for service goes, I would say that it was high on our scale. The room was a neat, two bedroom suite with private bath and a seaview balcony. Room was clean every day (I think it was Rita - lovely lady). The view is fantastic and we ate our breakfast (which was a generous continental - included hard boiled eggs, cheeses, Italian meats, fruit and more). What struck me about the location is that you are just close enough to the pedestrian zone to not have an arduous walk, and just far enough to have silence when you get back to the room. Breakfast on the balcony was the real treat here, the tranquility was simply fantastic. If you are looking for a clean, nicely appointed room for a family of four with a fantastic Amalfi Coast view, this works. Francesco and his brother, Luigi, were top notch hosts. Francesco gave us a restaurant recommendation when we arrived (Il Fornillo) and it did not disappoint. He also oriented us to the town with a map and pointed out suggestions to visit. He really made us feel like family with his attention. We do plan to return to Italy and if Positano were to be one of our destinations, I would be calling Francesco with the hopes that he will remember our family!

Home from home Highly recommend staying here. Francesco and Luigi are extremely welcoming and helpful. They advised us on the best routes into town, booked us airport transfers and made us feel welcome. The breakfast is provided to your door and there is a wide selection of food and drink to choose from. The room was comfortable and had all you could need. We would stay again if we are lucky enough to visit Positano in the future.

Unsurpassed Warmth and Hospitality! I recently stayed for 3 nights at Casa Nilde with my family of four. We loved this our time there. Brothers Francesco and Luigi really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and right at home, and Rita was incredibly sweet in making sure we had all we needed for breakfast in the mornings. And it is quite a spread for breakfast! Fruit, juices, croissants, salami, capicola, cheeses, fresh tomatoes, pancakes, coffee... and there was still much more. They take the breakfast part of B&B very seriously. The room itself (the Yellow room) was very lovely, with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the sea. The room was reconfigured to accommodate the two adults and two children, and everyone slept great and enjoyed the stay. There were plenty of nice little touches throughout the room. We especially liked the ceramic tea set, and the ceramic tiled table on the balcony. Also, I should mention that the air conditioning was very effective and quiet, which we did not find in several other stops in Italy. This room was a great value for Positano. The brothers were also very helpful in making recommendations for dining, making a reservation for a restaurant, and reserving a car for a short trip down the coast. And they would always make you feel welcome when you entered or left the hotel, with a few friendly words and genuine concern that you were enjoying your time in Positano. These are great ambassadors for the town. I highly recommend this B&B. You will not regret it.

I can honestly say that I rate our stay at Casa Nilde as one of the best places I have ever stayed for a holiday. Your hospitality was absolutely superb and made our stay so special. I imagine it's a lot of effort running your own place so I wanted to say all the special touches don't go unnoticced and this service is what takes your already great property to the next level. Since coming back to Scotland we've been missing Positano and always joke that we wish we were climbing the steps in 30+ degrees heat up to Casa Nilde! The Amalfi Coast is the most beautiful part of the world I have ever been to and Positano really is the jewell in it's crown. I hope you have a great summer and wish you both all the very best. We had a fantastic time in Positano stying at Casa Nilde. Luigi and Francesco were wonderful hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed from directions upon arrival from the ferry to a car service when we were heading out. Luigi also gave us great dining recommendations! Breakfast was included and was delicious and our balcony was the perfect place to enjoy it every morning. I highly recommend Casa Nilde to anyone looking to stay in Positano!

Luigi and Francesco provided a most fantastic experience at Casa Nilde, the family run B&B was everything we could wish for, a superb family room with double bed and terrace, and 2nd room with 2 single beds in it, perfect for our children. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with complimentary toiletries and a well stocked fridge, (free water and juice and reasonably priced beer). The piece de resistance was the breakfast, which you select the day before and is brought to your room. (All local fruit, dairy, breads, croissant and meats, cheese and eggs). Eating this feast on our terrace in the morning sunshine, with views of the crystal clear waters of the Amalfi Coast, was a highlight of our trip. We received the warmest of welcomes from Luigi and both brothers could not have been more helpful, with restaurant recommendations, suggestions and and local information. We highly recommend this B&B in a great location, close to the Bus Stop for trips to Sorrento and Amalfi and beyond, and great value.

My daughter Sunshine and I traveled to Positano - our first trip abroad - not knowing what to expect. From the moment we arrived at Casa Nilde we realized our good fortune. Francesco and Luigi offered us kindness, warmth, and hospitality. They were quite professional and so eager to make our trip memorable. The dinner and day trip suggestions - and their ease of planning drivers and shuttles, made it all so easy for us. No question, no task was too small or too big for them to solve quickly and fully. They feel great pleasure in serving you - but I must say, the pleasure was certainly ours! They’re proud of their village, and welcomed our being a part of it. A week was not enough! Excellent intro to Positano from Francesco and Andrea, down the stairs to the Main Street, left and experience the vibe in a quant town full of sweet evening air. Art, liqueur, fashion, aprons, gorgeous crockery, it's all close to Casa Nilde. Excellent recommendation given for restaurant.
